Galligan Insurance is independently owned and operated to handle your insurance needs. The agency was founded in 1955 by Eugene D. Galligan with the purpose of providing insurance services to Ouachita Parish and the surrounding area. Our motto has always been, “Serving the Public.” In 1972 Eugene V. Galligan began managing the agency, and changed the motto to, “Serving the Public since 1955.” Today, we have insureds in every corner of Louisiana. We also write in Texas and Arkansas. In 2013 Bryan Stephenson and in 2016 Chelsea Decorte joined the team and has become a vital asset to both our customers and our agency.

Members of the agency are active in the Professional Insurance Agents of Louisiana, where Gene Galligan served as state President in 2012.
